She Cannot Fail
Updated: Mar 6
Faith is the F in #FLY and whether it is faith in yourself or in a higher being, it's important to have something that gives you the confidence to push past your trauma. Anyone that has been through physical or emotional trauma has walked through the fire. Along with faith in myself, I’m religious and have immense faith in God too.
As Psalm 46:5 says “God is within her, she cannot fail.” God saving me the night of the car accident really showed that God is protecting me and accordingly strengthened my faith in Him too. I knew that I had been saved for a reason and would remind myself of the “for she cannot fail” part of the verse whenever I was having doubts about whether I could accomplish things after the accident. I told myself over and over that I was not going to fail. This helped me turn adversity into success and continues to lift me up!
My faith in God and my faith in myself helps me believe that despite everything that's happened, I still have the ability to achieve great things. My faith in myself was the outcome of what what I like to call my stubborn perseverance. I spent most of my "study" abroad semester in the hospital in London but once I got back to New York, I made it my mission to return back to classes and get back into the swing of things.
Think of something you want to accomplish and these tips will boost your confidence, give you the drive to shatter the glass ceiling, and claim your goal. The goal could be the 5k you’ve been training for or it could be getting the courage to say hi to the cute boy in your class! Take comfort in your strongest source of confidence and FLY!
